Introducing The Trenton by Ingersoll 1892 - Limited Edition
Continuing our journey of rediscovery through the Ingersoll archives...
"Lost & Found", the name of our latest collaboration takes us to Trenton, N.J, U.S.A, the birthplace of the Trenton Watch Co. in 1887. The city of Trenton was world-famous for its industrial and manufacturing prowess in the early half of the 20th century.
The Trenton Watch Co was one of the first movement suppliers to Ingersoll and became a major partner in Ingersoll achieving its dominance as America's "True Original" watchmaker. Ingersoll subsequently purchased the movement maker in 1908, making it one of the largest watch factories in the world, a further testament to its commitment to quality and excellence.
The iconic bridge within the city, proudly still stands, announcing "Trenton Makes, The World Takes". We revisit the city and take you on a journey with our own wondering soul to proudly relaunch the special relationship between two watchmaking powerhouses from a very special era.
The Trenton is our limited edition timepiece for AW19. Swiss-made, powered by an ETA F06.411 movement, limited to just 500 pieces with individually numbered case books.
The Trenton is available online here and in authorised stockists now and is priced at GBP £500/USD $700/EURO €625
